I love summer. I am a summer girl right through to the bone. The weather has been a bit sketchy this week and I am hanging on to every thread of sunshine I can find. Winter will be here all too soon and I’m just not ready for it! Maybe I ought to move to Hawaii…somewhere where I don’t have to wear socks. Ever. Sigh.
It’s been a fun week around here at Small Potatoes, despite the weather! We made Swamp Soup on our camping trip. We explored our inner artists with a few brushes, some blocks, and a keen imagination. And finally, we celebrated a day of pink with two little “pinkalicious” girls!
Well, here’s to a weekend of hopeful sunshine! Cheers, everyone! See you on Monday!
Thanks for stopping by!

I’m the same, Arlee! I start to panic when the temps dip into the low twenties! I’d rather have it hot and sticky like it was, and then I truly feel like it’s summer. 🙂
Jackie…it was 5 degrees here on Wednesday morning. Seriously. I panicked and started freezing every berry and veggie I could get my hands on!!! Lol!!
I have the same problem, and have though about moving to Florida myself:) Something about a cloudy day brings you down.
you doing great work!!I should mention it!!your photographs are speaking..every time I see them it conveys me different stories..you are just amazing!!!! could you please tell us about your camera?!! 🙂
Thank you very much, Emily. That is a very big compliment. I shoot with a Canon 7D most of the time. This particular photo was made with a wide angle lens…10-22mm. I also use a Canon 50D on occasion. They are both great DSLRs 🙂
